Our Practice Nurses are running a variety of clinics on the promotion of good health and disease management. They will also help you with:

General Medical Care

Asthma & Diabetes, Coronary Care, Hypertension etc.

Childhood Vaccination Clinics

Family Health

Contraception, family planning, ante natal and post natal care, immunisations, removal of stitches or minor injuries.

Contraception

Most community pharmacies can supply oral contraceptive tablets without needing to contact your GP.

This means:

  • New treatment can be started directly at the pharmacy.
  • Ongoing supplies can be provided without needing a repeat prescription from your GP practice.
  • This change helps make access to contraception more convenient and efficient for you.

Perinatal Mental Health Support

Having a baby is a major life event for mums and dads, and it’s natural to experience a range of emotions during and after pregnancy. But if these feelings start to have an impact on day-to-day life, it’s time to talk to someone. Talk with a professional such as your GP, Midwife or Health Visitor. Health Promotion

Well man/well women clinics, breast checks and cervical smears, HRT and menopause clinics. NHS Health Checks for patients aged 40-74 who are not under regular review. Over 75 health checks.

Breast Screening takes 6 minutes and saves 1,400 lives in the UK every year.

Mrs Zaman is a fully-trained phlebotomist.

Chaplain

The Chaplain service is currently operating via Telephone Appointments. Please speak with a receptionist to book a telephone call from the Chaplain on 01724 843168.

We have a Chaplain who is attending the practice on a weekly basis as a listening service and if you feel you would benefit from this service, please speak with our Receptionists who will gladly book a convenient time for you to see them.
