Snow and Ice Yellow Warnings issued for Yorkshire and the Humber between 17 November - 27 November

Risk score 12, Medium impact and likelihood.

Risks:

• Can result in rise in deaths, particularly 65 and over with health conditions.
• Likely increase in demand for health services.
• Temperatures in health settings dropping below recommended levels.
• Temperatures in private dwellings dropping below 18 degrees risking vulnerable groups.
• Staffing issues due to road closures.
